Amani Public Charter School is the first and only public charter school in Mount Vernon, NY. Amani is a 5-8 grade Middle School. Amani aims to eduate the child as a whole. Teachers and staff at Amani create a unique bond with all of their students. They truely care about each students well-being and success. Amani is the only Charter School in Mount Vernon, NY. Each month, the entrire student body and staff gather together to celebrate our scholars achivements. We often have performances from our Step and Cheerleading team to close out the event. It is a highly anticipated event.
