What makes us unique
67% of our students are of Hispanic origin, 23% are African-American, and approximately 10% are of Caucasian, Middle Eastern or Asian descent. Nearly 50% of all students in Paterson speak a primary language other than English, with over 40 languages spoken in district schools.
Ideal candidate fit
The Plan, known as Bright Futures, was driven by an urgent need to improve student academic outcomes, school and district culture, family and community involvement, and operational functions.
Must be enthusiastic to influence students' commitment to your course and interest in your field. The best teachers inspire students by demonstrating belief in their students' abilities and by providing the support students need to meet challenging academic demands.
