About

We are a college preparatory charter middle school (5-8) tuition-free public charter school in Queens, New York, with a focus on serving the CSD24 community (Corona, Elmhurst, Glendale, East Elmhurst). Forte is expanding to high school in Fall 2023 with 140 students in the grade 9. Our mission is: Through a relentless pursuit of academic, community, and personal excellence, Forte Prep Academy Charter Schools equip all students to become the next generation of leaders in Queens and beyond. We have a social studies-centered, integrated ELA program; a daily performing arts program, and a advisory and character education program to build strong values-based habits in young people.
